QA Technician - $50,000-$60,000 - Estherville, Lowa

The Role

Are you skilled in testing and evaluating products to ensure the highest quality? Moveero is seeking a dedicated QA Technician to join our team.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and troubleshooting both Moveero's and competitive prototypes and products. Your focus will be on ensuring design accuracy and reliability. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities


  • Work within strict time constraints to solve customer equipment and design problems.
  • Test and evaluate customer returned products following internal protocols.
  • Set up and monitor long-term tests, maintaining detailed records.
  • Calibrate and set up instrumentation for product testing.
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure its optimal performance.
  • Travel and conduct field work, including installation, monitoring, and maintenance of products.
  • Inspect prototype pieces and ensure they meet design specifications.

The Person


  • Associates degree or higher in Engineering preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic (instrumentation) wiring is a plus.
  • PCMM experience preferred.
  • Extensive product knowledge for building prototypes.
  • Proficient in reading and analyzing engineering reports, safety requirements, and business publications.
  • Effective writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, oral, and diagram instructions.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using computers.

Physical Demands and Work Environment


  • Regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing.
  • Occasionally lift/move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Office-based position with substantial time in a traditional engineering facility.
  • Travel to customer and Moveero manufacturing sites as required.
