Title: QA Lead

Pay rate: $55-63/hr (Based on experience)
Job Description
Responsibilities
- API testing: Study API implementation, perform impact analysis, and provide guidance to QA teams to come up with a comprehensive test coverage.
- Understand the contract between web and backend layers and do the release planning accordingly by coordinating with development and Project managers (Scrum Team) Identifying automation scope and working with the automation team to prioritize the tasks and deliver in-sprint automation.
- Building API test strategy and reporting solutions.
- Test Management Test planning / Test execution and Reporting Creating and implementing test strategy
- Be responsible for working with automation horizontal to bring in in-sprint automation.
- Transforming manual regression suite into automation suite by collaborating with the automation team.
- Prioritizing scope for automation teams based on current and future strategic projects
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of total experience and 3+ years of hands-on experience with testing APIs (xml / JSON / SOAP, REST)
- Any one API testing tool hands-on experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with agile methodologies
- 2+ years of hands-on JIRA / Confluence experience.
- XRAY knowledge is a plus.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with writing and testing APIs
- 3+ years of experience in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short-release cycles
- Sound working knowledge of Change Management processes
- Capital markets domain experience.
- Agile certification
