Position Details
As an Operator, you'll help us create quality products by preparing and performing tasks to set up, operate and monitor all components of the production line.
- Manage line staff to ensure goals and expectations are met
- Read and interpret shop drawings in order to program equipment
- Set up, operate and monitor assigned machinery and equipment
- Meet daily assigned production and efficiency goals
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished product is produced within established deliverables
- Make necessary adjustments to equipment to meet product quality standards
- Troubleshoot common equipment and quality issues
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation
- Work with Maintenance group to ensure line is properly maintained
- Operate overhead crane as needed to load and unload product
- Prepares orders for shipment
- Participation in continuous improvement efforts
Experience/Skills
- 1+ Year experience operating relevant machinery/equipment in manufacturing environment
- Safety oriented
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- 1+ Year experience operating a Forklift
- Overhead Crane experience a plus
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed
