PURCHASING SPECIALIST
SALARY: $45-65K
Full time, direct hire role

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PURCHASING SPECIALIST:
- Review OEM delivery times and coordinate with receiving associates
- Conduct safety audits of receiving docks, forklifts, and ASRS sensors
- Support the MRO Outsourcing Project implementation
- Negotiate various business aspects, obtaining management approval when necessary
- Inform relevant departments and managers about production line issues
- Conduct physical inventories
- Identify and resolve inventory gaps
- Travel to supplier sites to analyze issues and generate preventive countermeasures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PURCHASING SPECIALIST:
- Experience in Automotive Purchasing, Accounting, Engineering, or Technical Sales
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Experience in Epicor and/or C-Core is a plus
- Flexibility to travel domestically
- Any post-secondary education is a plus
