Job Accountabilities:

  • Ensures parts needed for upcoming units are in stock and expedited where needed.
  • Contacts Vendors concerning parts shortages and tracks shipments of parts in route.
  • Provides to Supply Chain Manager expected delivery date of parts and updates Reports where needed.
  • Makes suggestions to Supply Chain Manager of units needing to be pushed further back in production due to major parts shortage.
  • Works closely with Inventory Auditors & BOM Coordinator on inventory corrections to purchased parts.
  • Compiles and prepares spreadsheets of missing parts and delivery dates.
  • Maintains Open Order Reports from Multiple Vendors.
  • Assist in in maintain vendor files and searching for new vendors to remain competitive.
  • Ensures quality of purchased material; ensures competitive pricing.
  • Assist in daily purchasing task.
  • Assist with any other special request as needed.



Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Two to three years job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.
  • Computer skills to include prior use of Microsoft programs Word and Excel.
  • Use Internet to track orders.
  • Organizational skills to monitor several orders from multiple vendors.
  • Verbal and written communication skills for contact with suppliers during the expediting process.
  • General knowledge of Taylor Parts System would be a plus.
