We are a family-oriented Midwest based company in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a Purchasing Assistant to generate and process stock purchase orders.

What You Get To Do
- Performs purchase activities for a list of specific vendors as follows:
- Prepares and submits stock purchase orders. Online entry of purchase orders on vendor's web portal
- Responds to internal customer inquiries about order status and order changes.
- Enters purchasing documents into the Document management system
- Verifies accuracy of vendor invoice and process for payment
- Contacts suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems
- Reviews requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications.
- Assists with physical inventory as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
What We Need From You
Associate's degree in a related field a plus.
Minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with ERP systems a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and the use of the Internet.
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
