We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing & Budget Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing our company's purchasing activities and budgets. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, cost impact analysis, budgeting, and bidding to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire purchasing process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor selection, to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
2. Analyze and forecast budget needs, monitor budget expenditures, and identify variances to ensure financial targets are met.
3. Evaluate vendor bids, proposals, and quotes to secure advantageous terms.
4. Conduct cost impact analysis to identify potential cost savings and efficiency improvements.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their purchasing needs and budget constraints.
7. Prepare and present detailed reports on purchasing activities and budget performance to senior management.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and changes to ensure competitive purchasing and budgeting strategies.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in purchasing and budget analysis, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Proficiency in requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, cost impact analysis, budgeting, and bidding.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports.
5. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous terms.
6. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and experience with financial software.
9. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
