Job Title: Purchasing Admin

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Duration: 6 Months contract with possibility of contract to hire with right candidate


Description:
The Purchasing Admin role is a position that supports the purchasing and supply chain department areas of responsibility. It is primarily focused on coordinating purchasing activities. The typical role is responsible for daily coordination and administration of purchase transactions in support of business operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Supplier Add - Jaggaer and DLV ERP
  • OR creation for non-stock purchase orders
  • Receiving nonstock purchase orders.
  • Invoice review and resolution.
  • Expediting / cancelling / deferring purchase orders when needed
  • Metric generation daily / weekly / monthly
  • Uploading prints to Move It - FTP site.
  • Supplier communications
  • Data mining - program / purchasing requests.
  • General administrative talks for the team.
  • Proficient in MS Office suit. Mid-Advanced Excel skills.
  • Assist with non-conforming material returns to the suppliers (RGA's, shippers, returns, etc.)
  • Assist with departmental documentation - work instructions, procedures, training documents.
  • Document tracking of supplier tooling.
  • TMC entries / scheduling - Logistics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong MS Suite knowledge, Mid to Advanced Excel Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in executive administrative or similar role
  • Proven experience of strong multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to travel 5% locally.

  • Proven ability to multitask
  • Proficient in MS Office, Mid to Advanced Excel skills
  • Executive admin or similar experience to this role
  • Minimum Associates, prefers Bachelor's
