Seeking a full-time Pulmonologist. This pulmonologist position is primarily ambulatory clinic based with in-patient critical care consults as needed. Four-day work week plus one administrative day. patients per day. Hospital employed position.

Performing scheduled Bronchoscopies is required. The pulmonary clinic is well supported by Registered Respiratory Therapists providing a wide range of diagnostic tests such as PFT, NIOX, methacholine challenge and 6MWT as well as pulmonary rehab and Asthma education.

Located in Newport, Vermont, serves a catchment area of 28,000, spread across three counties in northern Vermont on the Canadian border. We are a fiscally sound, up-to-date facility with 25 active beds. The hospital carries the federal designation of a Critical Access Hospital.

The hospital medical staff has limited sub-specialists but has an excellent group of necessary practitioners including general and orthopedic surgery, ob/gyn, pediatrics, cardiology, urology, neurology, pulmonary medicine, sleep center, radiology, pain clinic. The hospital is also served by visiting ENT and nephrology. Additionally, there is an outpatient dialysis center.
