Public Tax Accountant

Staff-Up is seeking a Full-Time Tax Manager (CPA or EA) for a full-service public accounting firm that focuses on tax, financial advisory, and management services to small and midsize businesses located in Arlington, TX.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
This is a DIRECT-HIRE position.

Job Description:

In this role, you'll be responsible for handling tax compliance and advisory engagements in a variety of industries.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

3+ years planning and consulting at a public accounting firm (Required)
CPA license or EA Certification (Required)
3+ years in federal tax compliance (Preferred)
Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
Experience with complex partnership allocations
Good project management and analytical skills
Self-motivated team player with effective communication skills
Experience in managing, developing and training staff accountants
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Handling tax compliance and advisory engagements in a variety of industries with a focus on Small to Medium sized businesses.
Managing, developing and training Staff Accountants
Work closely with firm leadership to play a key role in business development and firm administration activities.
Review and Prepare Tax Returns
Keeping informed of current tax developments and effectively applying tax knowledge/research to specific client situations and communicating tax developments with team members.
