To learn more about Berry, visit This position will be located On-site at our Riverhead, NY location. Hourly Rate for this position will be $17.00 - $19.00/hr based off experience level. Expected schedule for this internship will be Monday - Friday 20 hours per week. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The individual will assist the Human Resources Department with general administrative HR functions, focusing on recruitment and retention for assigned locations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Create requisitions for open positions, view/screen applicant's resumes and forward onto the applicable hiring manager(s). Research recruitment sources Coordinate selection and onboarding with hiring managers Partner with contract placement agencies to fill skilled/technical positions. Assist with the onboarding process and new hire documentation. Support performance evaluation process, prepare various HR reports as needed. Assist with planning site events, virtual and in-person. Qualifications Degree and/or coursework in HR Management Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, MS Office applications Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization.
