Responsibilities

Attends regularly scheduled staffing and case reviews.
Consultant to the physicians regarding advisability of and methods of psychological testing and to the administration of such tests to appropriate patients.
Coordinates and supervises psychology students of accredited universities during their clinical practicum.
Coordinates educational programs for Rehab Unit Staff, other hospital departments, and the community in coordination with the Rehab Unit Manager.
Identify, develop, implement and name psychological services consistent with the operating needs of the 4th Rehab unit.
Provide psychological testing and consultive service for inpatients and other psychiatric evaluation services upon consultation of staff physician orders.
Provides individual therapy for patients upon request of physician.

Experience/Education Requirements:

PhD in Clinical Psychology or professional doctorate degree with certification as a registered psychologist (able to perform independently)
Prior experience in the rehabilitation inpatient setting preferred, with supervised clinical experience in the various treatment modalities
2 years of experience in the various treatment modalities
2 years of experience or supervised training in performing psychological testing, including neuropsychological and personality batteries
