Location: Cincinnati Police District (CPD), 310 Ezzard Charles Dr, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214 .

Job Summary: FAR Group is looking for a successful and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a "Psychologist".


The candidate: Should have all the relevant education and experiences to perform the duties effectively and efficiently, and his responsibilities include the duties mentioned in this Job Description.


Requirements: The Candidate shall meet the minimum following requirements:

  • PHD or Master's degree in Psychology under the supervision of licensed psychologist.
  • Specific training in law enforcement assessments for the State of Ohio.
  • Provide qualifications for performing these tests, including use of clinical and/or industrial organizational psychologist and other staff.

Duties: The Candidate will undertake the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Define dimensions/competency indices for potential police recruits/officers used in personal assessment inventory.
  • Provide online or paper assessment tool for personal assessment inventory.

  • Define the process used in the final phase of recommending applicants suitability for the Police Officer role, including use of personal assessment inventory, any additional indices tested on.
  • Provide reports, including narrative descriptions, for applicants showing the results of defined competency indices that are essential to perform well. This includes results of assessments and a rating to assist with determination of advancement in the process.
  • Provide opportunities for customization of assessment tools based on competencies of CPD.
  • Provide validation support for instruments used.
