Psychiatry Opportunities (2) near Lansing/University of Michigan

2 Positions available: Located just outside Lansing, MI and minutes from University of Michigan.

Medical Director and Staff Psychiatrist

Medical Director candidates should have some past leadership or at minimum Chief Resident/Fellow experience.

Both are Clinical Roles treating BOTH Inpatient Adult and Adolescent Caseload. Medical Director will have slightly lower caseload expectation than that of staff Psychiatrist with some administrative responsibilities.

Candidates MUST be comfortable and willing to see both Adults and Adolescent populations, no exceptions because they will be the only Psychiatrists on staff.

Candidates can be either General or Child/Adolescent Psychiatrists. For Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist candidates they will have ability to see Child populations as well as the facility grows programs.

They will treat General Psychiatric issues and co-occurring disorders primarily. Call will be shared 1:2 at the beginning and 1:4 eventually as census grows. It will be low volume at the beginning.

Excellent base salary plus benefits. This will vary based on specific position, experience, board certifications etc.
