Psychiatry opening in New York x000D Located in Plattsburgh, NY - 31 miles to Burlington, VT and 160 miles to Albany. x000D Full time, permanent opening. x000D Employed position. x000D Joining a hospital-based practice. x000D Competitive compensation with a comprehensive benefit package including 10 days of CME. x000D x000D Highlights x000D Group is seeking new full-time Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the clinical scholar pathway. x000D These physicians will join our team of professionals to provide inpatient psychiatry services. x000D There is an opportunity to do outpatient services if desired. x000D Call is: 1 weeknight per month and 3-4 weekends per year. x000D Inpatient psychiatry services at CVPH include an 18 bed Adult Unit and a 12 bed Child/Adolescent Unit. x000D Care is delivered in a multi-disciplinary approach. x000D The group offers excellent sub-specialty coverage with ED visits above 46,000. x000D Selected candidates will be responsible for direct patient care along with, potentially, supervision and teaching of child psychiatry fellows, residents, and medical students. An appreciation of the x000D importance of and satisfaction from working as part of an innovative service model and an ability to work collaboratively are essential. An interest in clinical research, teaching, and/or public health is a plus. Knowledge of evidence-based medical practice is essential. x000D Applicants must have a medical degree and be board certified/eligible in psychiatry.
