StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with the Nation's largest Healthcare System to assist with seeking a Psychiatrist to join their established Psychiatry Residency Program. This opportunity is located in North Central Florida and is affiliated with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications:
  • Psychiatry Residency Program is accredited for 32 residents
  • Incoming physician will receive a faculty appointment through the University of Central Florida College of Medicine
  • 33 bed inpatient unit, consultation liaison service, PHP/IOP clinic and ECT service
  • The Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient treatment for adults 18 and older who are experiencing acute illnesses that require 24-hour medical care. They are a certified Baker Act Receiving Facility that also accepts voluntary and direct admissions
  • Focus on inpatients consults and IOP
  • Call is 1:5 with a resident is in house 24/7 for consults, admissions and emergencies
  • Supervise on average 3 to 4 residents
  • Participate in structured didactics.
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Recently graduated Residents with interest in teaching are encouraged to apply

Located a short 3.5 miles from the University of Florida campus, this hospital is a 510-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida. It offers a wide range of services including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, women's care and wound therapy. With a new tower that recently opened, the facility added an 18-bed MICU, a 30-bed Orthopedic Unit and a 30-bed Postpartum Unit. In addition, they opened a brand new 25-bed Level III NICU, expanding the hospital s capabilities to care for sick and premature infants.
