Full-time, on-site position requiring a fellowship-trained Physician in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for Residential Treatment programs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Valid and active medical license in the state of Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
  • Strong clinical skills in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in psychiatric settings with potential for a Medical Director role.
  • Experience in residential treatment or similar settings.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents within residential treatment settings.
  • Lead or participate in treatment team meetings, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide oversight and guidance in the care process. Minimal weekend and weeknight call.
