Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Valid and active medical license in the state of Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong clinical skills in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience in psychiatric settings with potential for a Medical Director role.
- Experience in residential treatment or similar settings.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents within residential treatment settings.
- Lead or participate in treatment team meetings, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide oversight and guidance in the care process. Minimal weekend and weeknight call.
