Psychiatrist - 20 hours/week. We will work with your schedule. Available Caseload Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 9a - 8p; Friday 9a - 5p FQHC Outpatient Clinic (on-site) Bethpage, NY The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a not-for-profit providing comprehensive medical, dental and mental health services. We provide care with excellence and compassion to historically underserved community members with limited incomes including those with autism, learning and developmental disabilities, chemical dependency and behavioral health concerns. Our healthcare and adult services center enables CEC to provide the highest quality of care in an environment that reflects the respect and commitment we have for patients. It's designed to promote the integration of medical and behavioral health disciplines to improve patient outcomes. Our team-based approach puts patients at the center of their care. Using the highest standard of medical care, we give patients the tools they need to achieve their best health. The demand for behavioral health support has increased dramatically so CEC is expanding our Behavioral Health Department at our Bethpage clinic location. We are looking for a psychiatrist able to commit to 20 hours/week. We require: + Medical degree from accredited medical school. + Completion of an approved psychiatric residency. + Current NYS license. + Current DEA registration. + Board certified. + Prior experience with I/DD population, preferred.
