Shelby offers advanced technology resources including a 3 Tesla MRI, a robotic surgery program, and a state-of-the-art cardiology suite. Shelby offers a full range of services to meet the diverse needs of patients including fast, life-saving response times for patients with chest pain or stroke symptoms; cardiology, including specialized surgical services; orthopedics, including rehabilitation; and psychiatric care. Job Summary Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. Job Responsibilities Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education and staff meetings. Education Required: Minimum 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field. Experience Required: 1 year of experience Certifications Required: CPR
