Role Description
This is a contract role for a Psychiatric Medical Director at Casa Esperanza, Inc. in Boston. The role is a hybrid position, with the majority of work being performed on-site in Boston and some flexibility for remote work. As the Psychiatric Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing psychiatric services and providing clinical leadership. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide supervision and guidance to staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree
- Board certification in Psychiatry with added qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine (ABPN or ABAM board certified or eligible)
- Hold current, or able to obtain, Massachusetts medical license, current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Minimum of three years clinical experience beyond residency/fellowship training
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical and leadership skills
