As a Prototype Machinist, you will have the chance to work on innovative projects, contribute to our continuous improvement efforts, and play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence.

Responsibilities:

As a Prototype Machinist, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Prototyping and model-making parts, using your expertise to ensure precision and accuracy in all projects.
2. Inspecting, fixing, and repairing worn or damaged parts and fittings, ensuring the longevity and reliability of our products.
3. Finishing machine newly purchased parts for proper fitment, ensuring all components meet our high standards of quality.
4. Fabricating brake cylinders, special fasteners, tools, and fixtures, demonstrating your versatility and adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
5. Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Machinist role will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a machinist role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven ability to prototype and model-make parts with precision and accuracy.
3. Experience inspecting, fixing, and repairing worn or damaged parts and fittings.
4. Demonstrated ability to finish machine newly purchased parts for proper fitment.
5. Experience fabricating brake cylinders, special fasteners, tools, and fixtures.
