Proposal Consultant with Security Clearance

Overview Proposal Consultant STEM 9: Bowhead is seeks Proposal Consultants to assist with the capture and proposal development for the Science & Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) effort at NSWC Crane, IN. This position is on-call and part time in nature. Responsibilities Job duties will include: Assisting in providing data and information pertaining to the RFP provided. Writing technical documents that are accurate and adhere to the RFP. Assist in writing naratives and reviewing draft and final documents for technical accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education is required however, a Master's degree is preferred Must be a Licensed teacher with an active certificate from the State of Indiana Must have prior experience with the STEM contract, teaching and NSWC Crane in general Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
