Property Maintenance Technician

We are currently hiring for a Property Maintenance Technician in Batavia, NY.
Temporary to Permanent
Part Time
Flexible hours between 8am-5pm
Overtime and On call rotation required
$16.50-$18/hour depending on experience
Candidates must be skilled in drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and flooring; HVAC experience helpful
Position is also responsible for grounds maintenance and snow removal
Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities
Must be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as on a team
Must have good communication skills for timely follow-up on work orders with team members
Strong customer service skills required and experience needed to interact with residents, contractors, fellow team members.
Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years prior maintenance skills drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning and general maintenance repair skills; HVAC helpful or will train.

• Prior apartment or home repair maintenance skills helpful.
