Responsibilities: Manages the development and implementation of the organizations policies and processes to control to procure, maintain, replace, and dispose of physical assets, including property, equipment. Designs and implements systems and facilitate asset management. Develop and implement asset management plans. Oversees the planning process for asset acquisition, replacement, and disposal. Coordinate with other departments to identify and procure necessary assets. Develops methodologies for tracking asset lifecycle, inventory, locations, cost and return on investments. Assist and maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of the organization's assets. Implement and manage asset tracking systems to monitor the status, location, maintenance, and other relevant information about the organization's assets. As required, perform remote and physical audits to ensure the accuracy of the asset inventory. Provide asset management training and support to other staff members. Prepare and deliver reports on asset performance and forecasts. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to asset management. Update and maintain asset databases as required. Prepare and present asset reports to management. Manage asset-related risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support the government's ad hoc requirements. Qualifications: Must have an active/current TS/SCI and be able to pass a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's or equivalent experience in logistics and or physical property management, or related field.
• 10 years of experience with 6 years of project management experience.
• Proven experience as an Asset Management Specialist or similar role.
• Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience with asset management software and databases. Supervisor: Task Order Lead Proceeds independently following general plans, policies, and purposes of the practice. Results of work are considered technically authoritative and accepted without significant change. Travel Requirements: Travel may be required inside the Washington National Capital Region (NCR). Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment. Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent basis.
