Overview of Property Accountant role:
- The Property Accountant will be responsible for full cycle general accounting, bank reconciliations, month-end close for multiple entities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Handle GL analysis, fixed assets, and reconciliations
- Must feel comfortable in Excel
- Act as the primary liaison between the accounting department and association boards.
Preferred qualifications of the Property Accountant:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting
- HOA/Property Management experience
- CAM license is a MUST
- Strong Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong Excel
