Job Details:
We are on the hunt for a Property Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. You will be an integral part of our team, managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in property accounting, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact on our operations.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Property Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the general ledger and ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
2. Performing monthly reconciliation of property bank accounts.
3. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for properties.
4. Managing the CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliation process for tenants.
5. Utilizing Yardi property management software to optimize financial operations.
6. Collaborating with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.
7. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
9. Addressing any financial discrepancies and providing solutions to rectify them.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Property Accountant role will have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting.
3. Proficiency in Yardi property management software.
4. Extensive experience with general ledger functions, CAM reconciliation, and property accounting.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
9. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
