Project Superintendent

IC Construction is hiring a Project Superintendent to help lead its growing commercial construction business. This position will manage various jobsites across the country including Dallas, Las Vegas, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia. This role requires travel to job sites.

In this role, you will supervise, organize, and coordinate the work of employees, subcontractors, and outside vendors on construction projects. This role will lead construction execution for all assigned projects including adhering to project scope, budget, contracts, and schedule expectations.

IC Construction Company is a general contractor based out of Swisher, Iowa with a branch office in New Franken, Wisconsin. In 2010 IC Construction started as a concrete subcontractor but has since expanded into providing full general contractor services, including self-performing concrete, carpentry, and steel erection trades.

Job Duties:

• Determine work priorities and coordinate work activities within the project assigned

• Coordinate and inspect new construction and remodeling work

• Collaborate with the project team, management team, and client on all construction related activities

• Develop and exercise control over construction project schedule and progress

• Perform risk assessment of proposed work to determine resources needed to successfully complete the work

• Estimate materials and manpower needed to complete projects

• Monitor and enforce safety standards on the jobsite

Requirements:

• 5+ years of superintendent experience

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience

• 2+ years of project management experience

• Ability to travel to job site
