What are we looking for in our Project Portfolio Manager?


A global biotechnology company is looking to hire a contract Project Portfolio Manager.


Location: Remote / EST (hours 7 am-7 pm)

Contract: 4-6 Months (Leave Coverage)

Pay: $40-55/ hourly depending on experinece


Responsibilities:

  • Manage global portfolio initiatives and service offerings to cultivate a collaborative Project Portfolio Management (PPM) culture.
  • Improve the organization's ability to deliver value by enhancing identification and prioritization capabilities and implementing benefit management approaches.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in various areas of management.
  • Enhance business capabilities through the development of templates, knowledge management approaches, and governance forums.
  • Support the development and implementation of standards, methodologies, and processes to achieve cross-functional objectives.
  • Collaborate with other units to foster engagement, manage relationships, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Broadcom Clarity Experience required
  • Experience in standardizing and enhancing project, program, and portfolio management capabilities.
  • Ability to design, develop, and promote documentation, training, and policies to ensure consistent application of governance standards.
  • Proficiency in providing knowledge management services and maintaining knowledge repositories.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to engage and support diverse portfolios.
  • Experience in defining and implementing portfolio management models, including career development and coaching.
  • Ability to collaborate with other functions to drive best practices in PPM and advocate for organizational culture.
  • Expertise in Portfolio Management methodologies, resource management, and benefits management.
