Title: Infrastructure Project Manager Videoconferencing Real Estate Buildouts

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)


Duration:18 months+ possible extension

Position Overview: The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of videoconferencing real estate buildouts. This role requires strong leadership to manage a multidisciplinary team, including network engineers and design professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in infrastructure project management, particularly in IT and telecommunications, with a focus on videoconferencing systems and real estate development.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Lead the planning and implementation of videoconferencing infrastructure in new and existing real estate developments.
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of network engineers, architects, designers, and other technical staff.
    • Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed progress reports.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Design and Development:
    • Oversee the design and implementation of videoconferencing systems, ensuring they meet technical and functional requirements.
    • Collaborate with design teams to create detailed architectural and engineering plans.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Statement of Work (SOW) Development:
    • Develop detailed SOW documents, outlining project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
    • Monitor and ensure adherence to SOW terms and conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
    • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
    • Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient use of personnel and materials.
    • Approve and monitor project expenses to maintain budgetary control. Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
    • Master s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure project management, with a focus on IT and telecommunications projects.
    • Proven experience in managing videoconferencing system implementations and real estate buildouts.
    • Strong background in leading technical teams, including network engineers and design professionals.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
    • Strong understanding of videoconferencing technologies, network infrastructure, and real estate development processes.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
    • Additional certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or videoconferencing systems are a plus.

Work Environment:

  • This position may require travel to project sites and collaboration with remote teams.
