Scope and responsibilities:

we are looking for a medium to highly seasoned project manager.

he/she will work tightly with our team and the client

should have experience in business process design type of work.

The project has to do with reengineering business processes related to risk management for a client of ours. The client is a small bank. we have had many years of relationship with them. the role of this role would be, mainly, to conduct/guide remote meetings, compile meeting minutes, follow-ups etc. Again, as i indicated, our team will provide the expertise; we will even provide the right way to get there; but this role will simply have to keep all sides between those painted lines and not let them stray. make sense?

the work will be largely remote. i see this not just as a significant opportunity as it will allow us to deploy resources from anywhere, but also as a risk because working remotely with very little knowledge of people on our side of the team and that on the client's side may be a fair bit of challenge. Hence travel once a month will be helpful(no travel expense will be paid.

Experience at a financial services institution is a plus

The project will last at least a year. it will go from completion of the business process engineering by late June to an implementation of certain risk management software right after it, and i expect it to continue for 1+ years.
