Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager for a direct hire position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and project management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning sessions to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, managing timelines and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed, maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks, ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the manufacturing or related sector.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in machining and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
