Project Manager

Job Summary: Wipro has an opening for an experienced Project Managers to join our team. Our preferred candidates will have a strong technical background. Learning the Wipro systems and business are critical to success. The candidate will have managed multiple projects, carefully tracking hours and dollars. We seek people who are firm and assertive with experience using enterprise project management tools and a strong SDLC background. Healthcare or Insurance Enrollment and Billing background is highly desirable. Client-facing experience is a must. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES : Manage multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Manages all phases of project development and implementation by ensuring that business deliverables are completely satisfied, on time and within budget Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required Prepares project reports for management, client, or others Confers with project personnel to provide technical and functional advice to resolve problems Communicates on assigned project deliverables to keep management apprised of project status, major issues, scope changes, resource changes and milestone achievements or misses Facilitates regular project meetings and follows up with team members as required to focus on business, operational, or technical issues Provides consultation and assistance to end-users and department personnel in the development of solutions and project plans Translates strategic needs of Wipro into executable projects QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Healthcare experience is a strong differentiator. 7+ years as a PM with a proven track record of success Strong SDLC background/knowledge Interpersonal and leadership skills Organizational and time management skills Experience running multiple enterprise class projects, managing hours and dollars Proficient working knowledge of MS Office suite EDI experience with 834 and 820 transactions is strongly preferred. Professional presentation and excellent written and verbal communication skills
