Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for project execution, profit and loss management, and securing new work
  • Develop and maintain a project safety program, fostering a culture of safety
  • Implement and oversee quality management plan and quality culture
  • Coordinate and manage design deliverables, permits, procurement, and construction
  • Review design compliance, cost optimization, and constructability
  • Monitor project performance and prepare status reports
  • Manage design risks and contract obligations
  • Verify progress payments and maintain client relationships
  • Select, onboard, and place staff for projects
  • Contribute to district committees and initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Support a culture of profitability and solutions
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive construction experience in commercial projects
  • Experience in estimating support is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, materials, methods, safety, and quality management
  • Familiarity with diverse project types and construction methods
  • Understanding of insurance, bonding, contracts, and legal requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle staffing issues
  • Strong conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and judgment skills
  • Experience leading teams of 15+ members
