We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who has led large development or software implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and technologies, including Google Cloud Platform or AI technologies. This role can be performed either from our Schenectady office or remotely across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project processes from conception through to completion.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress and adjust as needed.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • Experience with software development and project management software tools.
  • Direct work experience in project management capacity with Google Cloud Platform or AI technologies is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
