They also ensure that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope. A Day In The Life + Technical ability to interpret customer specifications and provide a design which meets all requirements, especially quality and schedule + Responsible for ensuring a quality drawing package is released to manufacturing + Review BOM's, maintain schedules, and review QC forms + Facilitate and lead detailed project meetings and internal discussions + Recognize a need for and champion areas for product and process improvements + Effectively problem solve project issues, make sound decisions, and provide timely customer solutions + Responsible for managing larger volumes of standard projects or a variety of complex, non-standard projects + Assist as appropriate in the development of project estimates and ensures the implementation of strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed business requirements and customer expectations + Mentor others in project management processes, tools, and interpersonal skills to ensure successful project completion + Work safely in and around energized electrical enclosures + Customer visits (travel approximately 10% of the time) What will help you thrive in this role? + Bachelors Degree in Engineering related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education/job experience may be considered + Strong Project Management experience in either Industrial or Manufacturing fields + Understanding of Bill of Materials + Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams preferred + Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite + Strong attention to detail + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written + Proven analytical & problem-solving skills Competencies Hubbell Incorporated Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
