Overview Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to join our Planning team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities + Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. + Lead and supervise a team of professionals + Facilitate communication and collaboration with clients, government agencies, landowners, and other relevant stakeholders. + Ensure that the project adheres to zoning regulations, environmental laws, and other legal requirements. + Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial resources effectively. + Identify potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. + Ensure that the project is executed with a high level of quality and meets the client's expectations. + Provide regular project updates, status reports, and progress assessments to stakeholders. Qualifications + 10+ years of experience in planning and project management + Registered American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Preferred + Provide high quality deliverables with exceptional client service + A desire to lead and grow a planning practice + Business development and marketing experience including; writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work. + Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
