Job Title: Project Manager (PMO) Revenue Cycle Major System Enhancements

Job Function: Work as a Project Manager (within the RCM client's existing PMO) to manage other 3 rd party software vendor PM's in developing and deploying enhancements to current revenue cycle systems. Incumbent in this would be maintaining progress against budget and project plans while keeping the RCM client organization updated on general project delivery milestones and any issues that could impact progress.

Location: 100% remote with occasional travel to client locations

Project Duration: Estimated at 12 - 18 months. Further extension is likely for the right candidate.

Salary: up to $80.00 per hour as a W2 Hourly. Exact rate is commensurate with experience.

Scope of Job:

RCM's client is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager, to support the RCM client's existing PMO, who is experienced managing multiple enterprise level projects, to lead a two-phase initiative focused on enhancing our client's revenue cycle functionalities. This project involves close collaboration with external vendors to integrate a new practice management system and build out functionalities for billing, collections, while interfacing with other downstream financial systems.

The work can be done remotely but candidates must be able to travel occasionally to participate in key project reviews and other project leadership meetings. Candidates must be able to cover mostly Eastern Time Zone hours with occasional overlap for other time zones.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Possess strong emotional intelligence to foster a collaborative and productive environment while proactively/professionally managing relationships.

Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a comprehensive strategy for integrating Practice mgmt. system with existing systems and workflows.

Foster open communication to build trust between internal teams and vendors.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement and vendor success.

Demonstrate a strong ability to adapt to change and embrace our client's unique culture.

Project Leadership

Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.

Lead the migration of relevant data into practice management system.

Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Lead and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and that progress/deliverables are consistent with published budget and schedule commitments.

Project Management

Develop and maintain clear and concise project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk assessments.

Quickly learn and navigate the practice management system.

Understand the entire revenue cycle, including patient intake, billing, collections, and reconciliation.

Oversee the development and implementation of new functionalities for billing, collections, etc.

Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management/PMO, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Prior experience in the healthcare domain would be a big plus but is not required provided the candidate is a quick learner and able to dive into the details.

Experience working with external vendors and managing vendor relationships.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.

Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Experience with practice management systems (PPM, JIRA).

Experience with revenue cycle management.

Strong understanding of billing and collections.
