Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Manage the planning and execution of home restoration, reconstruction, and property restoration projects.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and tasks.
4. Review work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure the successful completion of the project.
5. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
6. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, presenting them to stakeholders and senior management.
7. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
8. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
9. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management, including experience in home restoration, reconstruction, and property restoration.
3. Proven working experience in construction management, with a history of successfully completing projects from beginning to end.
4. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, understanding of all facets of the construction process.
5. Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
6. Excellent knowledge of building and construction, design, construction processes, and quality control principles.
7. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
8. Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
10. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
11. Ability to plan and see the "big picture", with competence in conflict and crisis management.
12. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
