An established and growing civil construction firm, specializing in civil projects such as deep foundations, heavy concrete and steel, bridges, and railways is adding a Project Manager to their team.

This role requires travel up to 30% of the time. Open to candidates relocating and some relocation assistance is offered. Preference for local candidates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil construction working on bridges, heavy concrete and/or railways. This is not a one job role, we are looking for a long term/permanent hire. The projects for the next 5 years average $3-$15 million in size.

The base salary for this role is up to $125k with up to a 30% annual bonus.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Civil Construction firm.This role is integral to our company's growth and success, and we are looking for someone who can drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing all aspects of the construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
3. Coordinating and liaising with internal teams, external contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks and issues.
5. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the finance industry.
7. Cultivating strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
8. Continuously improving project management processes and practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in civil construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing complex projects from start to finish, including budgeting, planning, execution, and risk management.
3. Strong financial acumen, with a solid understanding of project budgets and financial management principles.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
6. A bachelor's degree in related field a plus, but experience in lieu of degree also considered.
7. Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is highly desirable.
8. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
