Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing projects to implement and integrate applications while aligning to corporate policies and standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with application development, infrastructure operations, information security teams, as well as various vendors to execute against the vision and strategy for the Corporate IT Application Development Unit.

Responsibilities include performing project management duties to oversee all aspects of technology projects and ensure completion on-time and within budget. These duties may involve:

Managing project scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables

Drafting and executing against a formal Project Management Plan

Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring progress for the project

Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules

Meeting with project team members to identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues

Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution

Preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project

Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget

Conducting post project evaluations and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements

EXPERIENCE

Microsoft products: Project Online, Project, Teams, SharePoint administration, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TFS, Visio, etc.

Ability to schedule and manage meetings using Outlook and Teams

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or closely related degree is highly desirable
