We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a solid background in drywall and paint, who is looking for an exciting new challenge. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
5. Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
6. Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
7. Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks.
8. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
9. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
10. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the role of Permanent Project Manager will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, with a focus on drywall and paint.
2. A Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
3. Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee large-scale construction projects.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Strong understanding of construction management processes, means, and methods.
6. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
7. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Proficiency in construction project management software.
