Job Details:
We are looking to bring on a Project Manager for our in-office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of steel construction projects within the design phase. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and influence large scale, high profile construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of steel construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Oversee the design and drafting process, ensuring all designs are accurate, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop project plans and timelines.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed project plans and blueprints.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure all work is being carried out according to project plans and specifications.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications:
  • 0 - 4 years of experience in the construction industry at some capacity.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best prices for materials and labor.
  • Must be willing to travel to construction sites as needed.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is considered an asset.
