We're a Multifamily Construction Company based in Austin, TX that specializes in building a wide-variety of multifamily product types that include affordable housing, market rate apartments, student housing, and senior living projects.

Currently, we have 3 active projects in the greater Austin area with an additional 2 projects coming up within the next 30-45 days along with another slated for the end of Q2.

We're actively looking for an experience Project Manager with a background focused in building ground-up multifamily projects. This is a long-term career opportunity and it will be based out of our office in Austin.

This is an opportunity to lead and manage construction projects in the multifamily sector, including market rate apartments, garden style, podium, wrap, student housing, assisted living, and HUD projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multifamily construction projects from start to finish, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that this sector presents.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all aspects of construction project management, from initial planning and budgeting to project completion and delivery.
2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to design and implement project plans.
3. Managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and mutual
understanding at all stages of the project.
4. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
5. Identifying and managing risks, developing contingency plans to mitigate potential project delays or cost overruns.
6. Ensuring all construction activities comply with local and national building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental
standards.
7. Continuously monitoring the progress of each project, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
8. Resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during the construction process, working closely with all parties involved to find
mutually beneficial solutions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

1. A minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in multifamily construction.
2. Demonstrated experience managing a range of multifamily construction projects.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
4. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact project timelines or budgets.
7. Proficiency in project management and construction software.
8. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
