About Your Work

Join our Enterprise Project Management Office as a Project Manager II, where you'll help revolutionize the healthcare system. Your role will involve managing strategic organization wide projects, managing the rollout of key software applications and business process changes.

As a Project Manager II, you'll work closely with our IT, Clinical Operations, and Healthplan Operations teams Your responsibilities include guiding business owners through project requirements identification, building project plans, and guiding the team through execution. We seek individuals with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping promote health and wellness.

In this role

You will focus on:
  • Work with business leaders, helping define project requirements.
  • Work with business and technical architects helping outline and refine new business processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and activities over the course of a project.
  • Develop project plans.
  • Execute project plan during the course of a given project.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management tools.

The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring
  • Must be highly adaptable to changing and challenging situations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization (executives to line staff)
  • Must have strong influencing skills.
  • Must have an intermediate level understanding of the healthcare environment and the roles of payers, providers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Must have knowledge of project management techniques and an understanding of project management tools and approaches.
  • Must have three years of experience in project management.
  • Must have bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification desired by not required.

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The anticipated pay range for this role is listed in our salary posting for transparency but may vary based on factors including the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and geographic location. This base pay range is specific to California and can vary based on Bay Area, Metro LA, and Greater California regions which may not be applicable to other locations.

Physical Requirements: Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday.
