How you might spend your days

As a Project Manager, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll be:
  • Create detailed business cases and present to Client Senior Site Management
  • Define overall scope, establishing detailed RFPs for obtaining proposals from all required consultants (engineering, construction, cost estimations, equipment vendors, etc.)
  • Effectively organize and manage multi-disciplined project teams to ensure successful completion of all project deliverables
  • Manage major project milestones, schedules, and monthly cost plans
  • Provide periodic project status to internal and external stakeholders including risks/mitigations, financial updates, short/long term project outlook, etc.
  • Manage project change control to ensure project remains within defined scope, budget and schedule
  • Ensure all facets of the project lifecycle align with expectations set forth by the steering group and/or project owner, such as installation, troubleshooting, qualification and validation of equipment
  • Execute in partnership with the Client and will be project dependent with a majority of your time spent onsite with your team

The miles you've walked

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Technical Discipline or Business Management
  • 3 years of practical experience managing complex projects with a minimum of 2 years managing projects in the pharma industry
  • Experience managing Mid to Large multi-discipline design projects (TIC 50 to 300 mill) including timeline and resource oversight
  • Knowledge of core work processes and GMP concepts
  • Basic understanding of contractual documents and ability to read/review design drawings (CAD) with a basic understanding of P&ID, HVAC and electrical systems
  • PMP or similar certification is considered as a bonus
