We are searching for a Project Manager who will own content management for the Operations Training team. This role lives in Vehicle Operations, reports directly to the Manager of Operations Training, and works cross-functionally with representatives from Test Management, People Operations, Software Engineering, Safety, and others. You'll ingest technical information from stakeholders, and transform it into training resources for new hires and existing team members, keeping in mind the goals of accessibility and knowledge retention. You'll work closely with the Lead Instructor to deliver and maintain training artifacts built for longevity and scale, that not only meet business needs, but also positively impact the culture of commercial operations. In this role, you will: Craft and maintain training content in alignment with department initiatives and customer requests, based on clearly defined project goals. Apply instructional design principles to produce effective and engaging training materials, with adult learners in mind. Employ basic graphic design principles to create impactful instructional materials and technical writing skills to develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. Collaborate regularly with subject matter experts to ensure all content is technically accurate and remains up to date. Manage project intake and execution workflows for the training team using common project management methodologies. Track project timelines and resources, coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful on time delivery. Effectively escalate risks and project blockers to ensure resolution with minimal disruption. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvements Manage content and artifact storage for Operations Training, through tooling like Confluence, Google Drive, and Glean. Create and manage team templates with the goal of driving consistency in communication and polish in presentation. Actively learn about new tools and methodologies to continuously improve the content development process. Present information and proposals to the training team and stakeholders, tailoring messaging for persuasive and informational impact to support decision-making and team planning. Required Qualifications: 1-2 years experience doing project management work equivalent experience Strong project management skills with some experience in Agile methodologies Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in graphic design software Ability to nimbly manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines Strong communication (verbal and written) and editing skills; experience doing research using multiple sources Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills; comfortable sharing ideas within the immediate team, and presenting to stakeholders and leadership Proficiency in documentation and productivity tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, Google Workspace, Slack) Enthusiasm for learning and talent for applying new skills and approaches to existing workflows, with continuous improvement as a guiding principle Good time management, organizational, attention-to-detail, and multitasking ability Ability to travel to other Aurora locations as needed Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Project Management or related field Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable Experience in instructional design and familiarity with the ADDIE model Experience in technical writing with the ability to document technical information and effectively tailor learning materials to non-technical audiences Experience with WordPress and basic SEO Knowledge of autonomous vehicle technology and the transportation industry Previous experience in a startup or tech-forward operational environment The base salary range for this position is $71,000 - $93,000 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
