Duties and Responsibilities: Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values. Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional department heads, subordinate project managers, construction managers, etc. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Maintain thorough understanding of WWC/Owner contract and develop project contract status reports. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc. Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with Client. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Education and/or Experience: 4+ years experience with solar/energy related projects. Bachelor's degree in construction management or Engineering (or related work experience) Experience dealing with subcontracts and self-perform work Individual Development (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Individual must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Must possess a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities vital; superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential. Significant business skill required. Basic knowledge of construction industry High knowledge of commissioning procedures. Good organizational skills Ability to work towards and reach deadlines Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Training and Development: Business Etiquette Business Writing Viewpoint Microsoft I, Excel I, and Outlook I training Develop knowledge of Heavyjob
