Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Program Management Office (PMO) senior leadership, provides assistance for/with the following: Builds a culture of project management excellence. Implements accurate projects monitoring procedures. Acts when needed to rectify the course of projects. Monitors compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates by means of project audits. Provides and interfaces with staff and management with objective insight into processes and associated work products. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Establishes and maintains baselines. Manages requirements of the project's products and product components and to ensure alignment between those requirements and the project's plans and work products. Coordinates communications across all workstreams. Performs all contractually and internally-mandated reporting. Provides centralized support for managing changes and tracking risks and issues. Collaborates with cross-functional team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to inform and produce high-quality content and specialized topics appropriately in writing. Contributes to a strong programmatic quality control and assurance program. Conduct post-mortems/capture, communicate, and incorporate lessons learned. Responsible for the preparation of and accountability for all contract deliverables. Authors, updates, and peer reviews various contractual written deliverables including manuals, procedures, processes, policies, and form documentation using clarity and logic to present information for greatest reader comprehension. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Participates in driving initiatives for achieving established objectives. May serve as the primary or assistant interface for the company, customer, and senior staff. Provides management services including general administrative oversight, financial tracking, vendor/partner/contractual management, and support. May conduct project meetings and is responsible for maintaining an understanding of the project's progress and tracking. Job Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited university, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years) Minimum of five (5) years related experience Must have a solid grasp of project management, editing, and writing skills. An appreciation and sensitivity for working and writing content for different audiences, settings, and formats. Must be highly collaborative by nature and must have demonstrated strengths in communication and collaboration. A strong ability to translate requirements into content, communicate well, and be a team player is a must. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines is critical. Experience with documentation development, maintenance, quality control, and accuracy. Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate exceptionally both orally and through writing, including demonstrating narrative, visual, and data analysis methods, using various applications and with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrates active listening skills in interactions with colleagues and clients, and presents ideas clearly and logically. Highly detail oriented; exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Possess strong prioritization and time management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to multi-task and hold responsibility for multiple, simultaneous tasks. Ability to take accountability and ownership of one's work product. Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and collaborative problem solver. Strong business acumen. Mission-focused (both corporate and client). A professional attitude: must be a team player, demonstrate trust, and support a climate that promotes respect for others and acceptance of alternative ideas and approaches. Willingness to solve problems, take on new challenges, and build on current skills. Prior experience working on Federal contracts and consulting firm background is a plus.
