Our client is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of their commercial construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive project plans and establish achievable timelines.
- Manage project budgets meticulously, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and communicative approach, working seamlessly with stakeholders, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
- Implement a proactive risk management strategy to anticipate potential challenges and develop effective mitigation plans.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills to address project conflicts efficiently and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare clear, concise, and informative project status reports, keeping all stakeholders apprised of progress and critical decisions.
- Drive project completion on time and within budget, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (or a closely related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of success on large-scale projects exceeding $25 million.
- In-depth understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in project cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and construction management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- A valid driver's license is required.
