Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Project Management Manager to join the C-17 Services Program leading the Program Operations Team in San Antonio, TX. The Program Operations Manager will serve as the operations leader providing integration across all business functions and lead the proposal management team. This position also serves as a direct extension of the Program Office, responsible for championing Executive level initiatives from concept to process implementation. Position Responsibilities: Partner with C-17 Executive leadership to drive executive vision and best practices into the program.
Collaborate with the senior management team on strategic discussions, customer engagements, internal requirements, and employee engagement
Integrate the Contracts and Acquisition organizations to develop program best practices and systems, ensuring configuration solutions, make/buy and sourcing decisions, and program alignment
Lead Operations initiatives to streamline work across the C-17 Program
Build relationships and create a productive look ahead rhythm with customers
Manage, develop, and motivate employee performance across the two teams
Ensure organizational alignment with Boeing processes, Program Management Best Practices, and compliance requirements
Manage organizational adoption of enterprise tools and internal/external systems
Manage and maintain the program operating rhythm and calendar
Support events at the site, customer, and program level
Proactively lead, manage, and train the C-17 team in the administration of Risk, Issues & Opportunities
Lead and Own the Program deliverables and reporting requirements to the customer
Proactively communicate internally and externally, ensuring timely and accurate status and early identification of issues / help needed
Develop and facilitate comprehensive approval to execute campaigns, ensuring successful capture and staffing of new work This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our San Antonio, TX facility. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post - Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in Business Project/Program Management
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers, and/or partners)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneNote Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience managing non-recurring projects/programs (direct reports and matrix teams), for DoD customers and for internal stakeholders
Experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) or in a role requiring project/program management skills
Experience with TINA compliant proposals and contracting cycles
Experience integrating cross functional teams
Experience with DoD contracting, ideally in a sustainment environment Experience presenting information at an executive level, comfort participating in executive level discussions
Experience with Tableau and similar internal and external dashboard systems Relocation : This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
